Stefan Raab's "Blind Kick"
The last couple of days, Nate and I have stayed busy with visiting more friends and family in Coswig, Dresden and Bernsbach. Unfortunately, there are not many games left in the World Cup, and there's already a feeling of sadness approaching, that we'll have to leave Germany again soon and then the seriousness of life starts again.
However, here is something that cheered us up a few days ago on tv and again last night when we found it on the internet:

It's a small segment of a tv show called "TV Total". The host usually plays his guest in a game of soccer... quite different than the conventional kind, though. This link goes to the Germany-Sweden match. The national anthems are funny (the Swedish one is the tune from the "Pippi Longstockings" movies), as well as the costumes. ;) - I can just laugh at this stuff for 5 minutes straight ;)
If you search for "Blind Kick" on the internet, lots more matches come up.
So, this much about German humour (this is about as funny as it gets, yes).
